Ever dreamed of becoming a proper manga artist like in Japan and getting your work published? Ever wanted to get serialized and show your drawings to the World one day?
Kiseki is the new one and only manga magazine in Australia that aims to bring the very best of manga bi monthly.  
We are currently welcoming submissions now from all over Australia. Do not miss this chance to chase your dream of becoming a manga artist.
Submissions should include:

  1. The 1st 7 to 10 pages of the first chapter (A double colour page introducing the manga must be included, the introductory pages before the double colour page must be in colour also)
  2. 1-2 pages on:
    1. The main plot summary and a concise storyboard for the next 6 chapters.
    2. Detail on the 3 main characters of the manga.
    3. Proposed title of the material submitted
  3. Manga must be Right to Left (Japanese traditional manga style)
  4. Alternatively, you can also submit one-shot manga to the magazine but at this stage, sequential manga will be given higher preference.

Extra information:

  1. We are mainly looking for Japanese-styled manga.
  2. Provide contact information along with your submission: (Name, Age, Mobile Number/Home Number, E-mail Address, City/State, etc.)
  3. All manga must be original and not some sort of fan art or copied from other people’s work.
  4. No explicit or sexual content will be accepted.
  5. With the font, we recommend you use Wild Words or any other font that mirrors translated manga.
  6. Although manga artists that can colour is all well and important (As the double colour page + prior colour introductory pages are needed), the manga pages are much more important to compared to how well your illustrations are.
  7. If accepted, you will be given around 30 pages for your 1st chapter and subsequent chapters will be 17-19 pages each issue. The selected artists will also be able to draw cover art for various issues throughout Kiseki. (A Submissions Release Agreement will also be made available)
  8. Keep in mind that spots in the magazine are limited.
  9. Drawing manga is an ongoing commitment, so please submit with great intent that you will keep up with deadlines that will be given to you.
  10. The magazine will be 255mm x 180mm and a 3mm Bleed.

Regrettably, we cannot respond to every person that sends us a submission. If we are interested however, you will be emailed.
Do not send us your original art as we are not responsible for the safe return of your artwork. Make sure you keep your originals and send us your digital images on cd. Photocopies, scans, etc.
